Specialise in natives orchids of Singapore, do not be surprise to find a large collection of orchids being used in workshop. Not only can orchids smell flowery, some can even smell citrusy!

Bulbophyllum cylindraceum Wall. ex Lindl.
Chinese name: Dabaoshidou Lan

It is usually found in Sichuan and Yunnan and the entire plant can be used to treat painful joints and numbness.

Bulbophyllum flabellum-veneris (J. Koenig) Aver.
Thai names: Phet phra in, Sa mai, Khon dam phi

Despite its small size, in Thailand, the pseudobulb is widely used to treat oedema whereas the entire plant is used to treat liver dysfunction.

Bulbophyllum inconspicuum Maxim.
Japanese name: Mugiran
Chinese medicinal names: Maihu, Guoshanye, Yangnaicao, Yaquezui, Linzhijiao; Shiyangmei, Wangniantao, Zishangye, Guazilian, Shilongshiwei.

In Sichuan, the entire plant is used to treat tuberculosis, while treating coughs in Quizhou and Fujian. It can also be used for fretfulness in children, acne, menstrual irregularities and external injury.
